I have not had a chance to use any of my new equipment yet. I did put the Panniers (and pedals) on the bike. They look great!

The bags are simple with ample space. Ortlieb makes great products that last. Can't go wrong with this brand.

The ortlieb panniers were not delivered with the bike. If they were in a separate box then UPS did not drop them off as well.

just beginning with the Ortlieb bags |

I have only begun using the ortlieb bags. They seem to be well made, and adaptable to many situations. There were several different varieties and configurations of the product, so that there was a bag to suit each person's needs. The price is high, but i will only be buying a bike once every 20 years, so in that case, the bags will be worth it, for the convenience factor. The staff at Kalkhoff bikes were very supportive in showing me how to use them, and the possibilities for them.
