Overview Specs

New Year's Sale! Reg $3349, now $2499, limited supply.

The Pro Connect Pedelec is one of the lightest weight and most efficient e-bikes available. Its unique pedal-assist technology makes urban commutes fast and convenient, getting riders on their bikes more often. The Shimano Alfine 8 speed internally geared hub gives you a smooth, quiet transition between gears and lets you shift at a stop for a quick start when the light turns green. A maintenance-free Panasonic motor converts each pedal revolution into added power, which means you cover more miles in less time. More mileage means more movement, and more movement means more exercise.

Pro Connect Web Special

The 2009 model Pro Connect (small, diamant frame only) is also available in small with a near identical configuration and in Palermo silver for $2199.

Good bike, funky tire valves. February 5, 2013
Reviewer: Ben Greear from Ferndale, WA United States
The bike is nice, but the non-standard (in the US) tire valves make maintaining the bike difficult.  Please consider using a more standard tire valve for bikes shipped to the US.

Fabulous Start November 16, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Vancouver, BC Canada
Getting my Kalkhoff in the Winter hasn't allowed me to ride extensively - but the brief hours spent in the saddle have been great.
This bike does a great job of flattening out terrain in a very hilly city - expanding the range and options for less-then-elite riders.
As well, I can see already that you are not as tired and sweaty once you reach your destination. You are still getting exericse - and you can moderate that using assist levels - but you don't have to exhaust yourself or dread certain routes.
In short, it makes everything more psychologically accessible - and fun too.

Fantastic Bike August 24, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Pennsylvania
I haven't gotten the chance to ride it much yet, but so far it seems like it's going to be well worth the money.  It really makes the hills around here as easy to bike as the flat areas.  It's crazy how well it works.

On top of that it's clearly a high quality and solid bike that's going to last me quite a while.
