My wife and I both ride Kalkhoff Tasman Wave bikes. The step through Wave frame design is common for commuting bikes in Europe, as it allows easy mounting and unmounting in any clothing. Also saves those baguettes from being kicked when they stick out of my panniers on the way home from the market! Great bike for errands in a 20 -30 mile round trip. In Portland we have lots of hills, and this bike climbs the steepest hill easily, even when fully loaded with groceries. I never have to stand up to pedal. Great range, very comfortable saddle, the hydraulic brakes let you stop on a dime, and the lights provide safe travel at night. We love our Tasman Waves!!
